chicken with bacon and leek seasoning is a stuffed chicken preparation roasted in the oven. Stuffed with a filling of bacon, breadcrumbs and leeks with egg and butter, the chicken with bacon and leek seasoning can be served with mashed potatoes and a side salad. Adapted from Sharp Microwave and Convection Cookbook.
Ingredients
  Chicken 1 1⁄2 Kilogram
  Leek 1 , finely chopped
  Bacon rashers 2 , chopped
  Whole meal bread crumbs 1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)
  Butter 20 Gram, melted (Extra, For Microwave Method Only)
  Egg yolk 1
  Salt To Taste
  Pepper To Taste
Directions

1.
Preheat oven to 200°C.
2.
Combine all stuffing ingredients.
3.
Fill cavity of chicken with stuffing and secure with a toothpick.
4.
Roast on Low Rack for 30-35 minutes on HIGH MIX/ROAST 200°C
