|Shortening||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Butter||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|All purpose flour||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Broiler fryer||3 Pound, cut up|
Heat oven to 425Â°.
In oven, melt shortening and butter in baking pan, 13x9x2 inches.
Mix flour, salt, paprika and pepper; coat chicken with flour mixture.
Arrange chicken skin side down in shortening.
Bake uncovered 30 minutes.
Turn chicken; bake uncovered 30 minutes longer or until done.
