Chicken Wings With Oyster Sauce
|Chicken wings||2 Pound (tips may be removed, if you wish)|
|Fresh root ginger slice||3|
|Garlic||1 Clove (5 gm), crushed|
|Oyster sauce||3 Tablespoon|
|Soy sauce||2 Tablespoon|
|Brown sugar||1 Tablespoon|
|Dry sherry||2 Teaspoon|
|5 spice powder||1⁄8 Teaspoon|
|Chicken broth||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
Place the chicken wings in the wok and add remaining ingredients.
Bring to a boil over moderate heat and simmer, covered, until the wings are tender, about 20 minutes.
Remove lid and boil hard to evaporate all but about 1/2 cup of sauce.
Eat hot, or chill and serve cold for a picnic lunch or as a shack.
Yum! Can even be rewarmed.
