Battered Chicken is a wonderfully delicious chicken preparation that will surely entice your taste buds. I served this dish for a get together with my friends at home. They loved it and have been haunting me for this Battered Chicken recipe. So here it is!
  Flour 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Salt To Taste
  Paprika 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Chicken 3 Pound, cut into pieces
  Shortening 2 Tablespoon
  Water 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Pepper To Taste

Mix flour, salt, pepper, and paprika together.
Roll each piece of chicken in this.
Heat the cooker and add the shortening.
Brown the battered chicken.
Add water and close cover securely.
Put regulator on vent pipe.
When the pressure is reached and the regulator is rocking slowly, time the chicken.
Cook 10 to 15 minutes.
Allow to cool naturally, about 10 minutes.
If you want a gravy, thicken the essence to desired consistency.
