Mix flour, salt, pepper, and paprika together.
Roll each piece of chicken in this.
Heat the cooker and add the shortening.
Brown the battered chicken.
Add water and close cover securely.
Put regulator on vent pipe.
When the pressure is reached and the regulator is rocking slowly, time the chicken.
Cook 10 to 15 minutes.
Allow to cool naturally, about 10 minutes.
If you want a gravy, thicken the essence to desired consistency.
