Chicken A La King
|Onion||2 Tablespoon, finley chopped|
|Mushrooms||1 Cup (16 tbs), sliced|
|Green pepper||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), diced|
|Chicken stock||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Cooked chicken||3 Cup (48 tbs), diced|
|Pimentos||2 , drained and cut into thin strips|
|Dry sherry||3 Tablespoon|
Heat the butter in a skillet, add the onion, mushrooms and green pepper, and cook for 5 minutes.
Stir in the flour, mix well with the vegetables, then gradually add chicken stock and stir until boiling.
Add seasoning and stir over low heat for 5 minutes.
Add chicken, pimentos and sherry and heat through.
