Simple Exotic Chicken
|Chicken||700 Gram, cleaned and jointed|
|Onions||3 , sliced|
|Cream/Top of the milk||4 Tablespoon|
|Green cardamoms||5 Pound, peeled and pounded|
|Garlic||7 Clove (35 gm)|
|Cashews||25 , ground into a paste|
|Green chilies||2 , deseeded and chopped|
|Fresh coriander||1 Tablespoon, finely chopped|
1 Heat the oil. Fry onions till a golden brown.
2 Meanwhile, lightly beat together the curds and cream. Mix into it all the except the lime juice and coriander.
3 When the onions have browned, turn the chicken into the pan on the fire. Cover and cook on a slow fire till tender and the curry is the consistency you desire. It should be a thickish gravy and the chicken will take between 30-45 minutes to cook, depending on its quality.
4 Just before serving, stir in the lime juice and garnish with the coriander.
