This is Freida Pinto's favourite chicken recipe: Roast chicken and red chilly
Ingredients
  Broiler chicken 1⁄2 Kilogram
  Oil 1 Tablespoon
  Kashmiri chilies 4
  Peppercorns 1 Teaspoon
  Cinnamon piece 1 Small
  Saffron 1 Teaspoon
  Cumin powder 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Tomatoes 3
  Salt To Taste
Directions

Clean and wash the chicken pieces.
Heat oil in a non-stick pan. Add the chilies, peppercorns and cinnamon.
When the spices become hot, add the chicken pieces along with saffron and cumin seed powder. Add salt and mix well. Add tomatoes and mix well. Cook on a low flame till it becomes tender and dry. Serve hot.

Story
This is touted to be Fried Pinto's favourite roasted chilly chicken. It actually is braised. Her favourites also include many seafood and Italian dishes as well. I'd double the recipe and serve four, and serve with basmati rice and some cilantro garnish as shown.
