Who doesnt love chicken wings, right? Especially during football season with the guys coming over to watch the game and have a few beers. Why not impress them with your baked chicken wings and scratch-made wing sauce?

Seans in charge of the wings, and veggie Adam makes the sauce. Although Adam will never know if its good since he wont eat the wings. Well just give him a carrot and tell him to shut up.

Ingredients

Chicken wings 15 ((frozen))
Celery sticks 100 Gram
Carrot sticks 100 Gram
For the sauce
Hot sauce 2/3 Cup (10.67 tbs) ((Sean likes Rooster Louisiana Sauce, Adam has no opinion))
Honey 2 Tablespoon
Garlic powder 1 Tablespoon
Unsalted butter 1/4 Cup (4 tbs)
Apple cider vinegar 1 Tablespoon
Kosher salt To Taste
Black pepper To Taste

Directions

GETTING READY

1. Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees F.

MAKING

2. Put your wings on a foil-lined baking sheet with a rack. Put into the oven for 45-50 mins if thawed, 55-60 mins if frozen.

3. Make the sauce: In a medium sauce pan over medium heat, put in all the sauce ingredients, stir to combine, then bring to a gentle simmer, reduce the heat to low and cook for about 10 minutes.

4. About 5-7 minutes before the wings are done, take them out of the oven and brush with a generous coating of the wing sauce. DUDE... don’t do this any earlier, or the sauce will burn and your wings will suck.

5. Put the wings back in the oven to finish.

6. Pull the wings out of the oven, put into a large non-reactive bowl (like glass or metal that won’t stain) pour about 3/4 of the wing sauce over top (save the rest for dipping). Toss the wings to coat and serve with your veggies and dressings.

SERVING

7. Serve right away.

TIPS

Wanna go really dude crazy with your wings? Next time you make bacon, save a healthy teaspoon’s worth of bacon grease and toss that into your wing sauce. Dude, trust me on this - amazing (just make sure the bacon grease has been covered in the fridge for no more than 2 or 3 days).
