Chicken Tinola (Tinolang Manok) - Filipino Chicken Dish

Ingredients
  Chicken 1 Kilogram, cut into medium pieces
  Chayote 2 Medium, diced into medium pieces
  Green chili 4 Medium
  Leek 25 Gram
  Chinese cabbage 1 Kilogram
  Onion 1 Large, sliced thin
  Minced garlic 2 Tablespoon
  Ginger 10 Gram, sliced thin
  Patis 3 Tablespoon (Filipino fish sauce)
  Vegetable oil 2 Tablespoon
  Water 1 Liter
Directions

MAKING
1.In a sauce pan, heat vegetable oil and saute the garlic in it.
2.Add onion and ginger and saute everything together.
3.Drizzle the fish sauce.
4.Empty the chicken in the frying pan and saute until the skin is brown.
5.Throw in the chayote and give it a stir.
6.Pour in the water.
7.Add the leeks.Cover and cook on high heat for 8 minutes.
8.Throw in the green chilies and top with the Chinese cabbage.
9.Cover and simmer on low heat for 2 minutes.

SERVING
10. Serve in a bowl and enjoy piping hot.
