Chicken a la King
|Chopped onion||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Chopped green pepper||2 Tablespoon|
|Condensed cream of mushroom soup/Condensed cream of chicken soup||10 1⁄2 Ounce (1 Can)|
|Milk||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Cooked and cubed chicken/Ham / turkey||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)|
|Diced pimiento||2 Tablespoon|
|Toasts||6 (As Required)|
1) In a skillet, saute the onion and green pepper in butter, until tender.
2) Blend in the soup and milk, mix thoroughly.
3) Stir in the chicken, pimiento and pepper, cook over a low heat, stirring occasionally until the chicken is tender.
4) Spoon the Chicken A La King over toast or pasta or rice and serve immediately.
