Roasted Chicken With Yogurt

Ingredients
  Ground ginger 1 Teaspoon
  Pepper 1 Dash
  Ground coriander 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Chicken 6 Pound, roasting
  Butter 2 Tablespoon
  Onion 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), minced
  Plain yogurt 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Half and half 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Turmeric 1 Teaspoon
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
Directions

Combine ginger, coriander and pepper; rub into chicken.
Tie legs of chicken; place breast side up on broiling trivet on turntable.
Place margarine in a medium bowl.
Microwave at HIGH (100%) until melted, 30 to 45 seconds.
Blend in remaining ingredients.
Reserve one-fourth cup of the mixture; set aside.
Spread remaining mixture over chicken.
Roast 10 to 12 minutes per pound on HIGH MIX or until chicken next to bone is no longer pink.
Combine pan drippings and reserved sauce.
Microwave at HIGH (100%) until hot, about 1 minute.
Serve with chicken.
