Anne's Chicken

Ingredients
  Frying chicken 1 , cut up
  Melted butter/Margarine 2 Tablespoon
  Dry italian salad dressing mix 2 Tablespoon
  Canned condensed mushroom soup 10 3⁄4 Ounce (1 Can, Undiluted)
  Cream cheese 6 Ounce, cut into cubes (2 Packages Of 3 Ounce Each)
  Sauterne/Sherry 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Chopped onion 1 Tablespoon
  Salt To Taste
  Pepper To Taste
Directions

Wash chicken and pat dry.
Brush with butter.
Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
Place in slow-cooking pot.
Sprinkle dry salad mix over.
Cover and cook on low for 5 to 6 hours.
About 3/4 hour before serving, mix soup, cream cheese, wine, and onion in small saucepan.
Cook until smooth.
Pour over chicken in pot.
Cover and cook 30 minutes on low.
Serve with sauce.
Makes 4 to 5 servings.
Serve with rice or noodles.
