Lemon Broiled Chicken
|Grated lemon rind||2 Teaspoon|
|Lemon juice||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Vegetable oil||3 Tablespoon|
|Corn syrup||2 Tablespoon|
|Dried marjoram||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Dried thyme leaves||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Broiler fryer chicken||2 1⁄2 Pound, cut up (1 Piece)|
To make basting sauce, combine all ingredients except chicken.
Arrange chicken pieces on broiler pan.
Preheat broiler and broil chicken about 3 inches from heat about 30 minutes on each side, basting frequently with sauce until all is used.
Makes 3 to 4 servings.
