Whip up this delicious Tangy Chicken that will have everyone reaching the bowl for seconds. This easy and simple recipe for Tangy Chicken is something new to try for those special occasions and tastes fabulous to impress your guests!
Ingredients
  Broiler fryer 2 , cut in serving pieces
  Water 2 1⁄2 Cup (40 tbs)
  Bay leaves 2
  Onion 1 , stuck with cloves
  Celery stalks 2
  Salt To Taste
  Pepper 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Thyme 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Flour 3 Tablespoon
  Lemon 1 , sliced
  Parsley 1 Tablespoon
Directions

MAKING
1) In a kettle, place the chicken and cover with a tight fitting lid
2) Tip in the water, bay leaves, onion, celery, salt, pepper, thyme
3) Bring the mixture to a boil and then lower the flame to simmer for about 50 minutes
4) Take off from the heat, and strain the broth to measure 2 ½ cups
5) Then mix together the flour with the stock, stirring continually to get a smooth sauce
6) Add the lemon slices to the stock
7) Tip in the chicken and heat gently

SERVING
8) Serve warm with some parsley garnished atop
