Sweet And Sour Chicken

Ingredients
  Chicken legs and breasts 4 (2 Legs And 2 Breasts)
  Flour 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Salt 1 Teaspoon
  Pepper 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Pineapple chunks 1 Can (10 oz) (Liquid Reserved)
  Sugar 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Cornstarch 2 Tablespoon
  Cider vinegar 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)
  Soy sauce 1 Tablespoon
  Ginger 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Bouillon cube 1
  Green pepper 1 , cut into 1/2" strips
  Green pepper 1 , cut into 1/2 inch strips
  Salad oil/Shortening 1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)
Directions

GETTING READY
1. Wash the chicken, pat dry and coat with flour; brown the chicken pieces in oil in a skillet evenly on all sides; remove as they are done into a shallow roasting pan

MAKING
2. Sprinkle them with salt and pepper and simultaneously heat the oven to 350°F
3. In a bowl, mix together the pineapple chunks liquid and mix it with water to form one and a quarter cups
4. In a saucepan, mix together sugar, cornstarch, pineapple syrup, vinegar, soy sauce, ginger and the bouillon cube; bring to a boil and cook for a couple of minutes
5. Pour it over the chicken and bake for half an hour without a lid; add the pineapple chunks and green pepper and bake another half hour till tender

SERVING
6. Serve as appropriate
