Sage Stuffed Chicken Breasts
|Boneless, skinless chicken breast halves||4|
|Prepared stuffing||1 Cup (16 tbs), cooled|
|Onion||2 Tablespoon, finely chopped|
|Ground sage||1 Teaspoon|
|Dried rosemary||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Nonfat cooking spray||1|
1 On a clean cutting surface, place the chicken.
2 Using the tip of asharp knife, create a pocket by slitting each breast open without cutting through the entire breast.
3 Lightly coat the grill with cooking spray and preheat for 5 minutes.
4 In a bowl, add the stuffing mix, onion, sage, and rosemary.Toss gently.
5 Stuff one-fourth of the dressing in each chicken breast and press the edges of the chicken breast together to close the pocket.
6 Place the stuffed breasts on the grill and cook for 7-9 minutes or until the chicken is cooked and the stuffing is warm.
7 Serve the chicken along with the excess stuffing scooped up on the side.
