Pineapple Honey Chicken Breasts
|Low sodium soy sauce||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Vegetable oil||1 Teaspoon|
|Garlic||1 Clove (5 gm), minced|
|Chicken breast halves||4 (Boneless, Skinless)|
|Fresh pineapple slices/4 canned pineapple slices may be substituted||4 , canned (1/2-Inch Thick)|
|Fresh pineapple slices/4 canned pineapple slices||4 (1/2-Inch Thick)|
|Non fat cooking spray||1|
1 Coat the grill with cooking spray and preheat for 5 minutes.
2 In a bowl, add the soy sauce, ginger, oil, garlic and honey.Blend well.
3 Place the chicken in the grill and pour the soy honey sauce over each piece.
4 Grill for 3 minutes.
5 The sauce will melt and run into the drip tray.
6 Arrange a slice of pineapple on each piece of chicken and grill for 3-5 minutes.
7 Pour the melted sauce over the grilled chicken to serve, if desired.
