Chicken Paprika

Ingredients
  Butter/Margarine 1 Ounce
  Onion 1 Small, finely chopped
  Garlic 1 Clove (5 gm), finely chopped
  Paprika 1 1⁄2 Tablespoon (Leveled)
  Salt 1 Teaspoon (Leveled)
  Chicken stock/Water plus stock cube 3⁄4 Pint
  Single cream 1⁄4 Pint
  Flour 1 Tablespoon
  Soured cream 10 Ounce (1 Carton)
Directions

MAKING
1) In a heavy saucepan melt fat. Add onion and garlic and sauté till golden brown.
2) Mix paprika and salt. Stir in stock and boil.
3) Place the lid and simmer for 10 minutes.
4) Mix chicken joints, cook covered for 1 hour till joints are tender.
5) In a small basin measure cream, add sift flour and whisk to blend.
6) Add little boiling chicken stock, mix and pour into saucepan. Stir and cook till boiling.
7) Turn off heat and add soured cream.

SERVING
8) Serve chicken paprika over plain boiled rice.
