Easy Skillet Chicken
|Milk||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Flour||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Chicken||3 Pound, cut up|
|Oil||1 (as required)|
|Butter||1 (as required)|
Beat egg and milk together.
Mix flour, salt and pep- per.
Dip chicken into egg mixture; roll in flour mix- ture.
Brown chicken well in mixture of oil and but- ter in heavy skillet.
Pour off skillet drippings; return chicken to skillet.
Add 1/2 cup boiling water; cover.
Cook over low heat for 45 minutes or until chicken is tender.
