Oven Chicken Barbecue

Ingredients
  Cooking oil 2 Tablespoon
  Chicken joints 2
For barbecue baste
  Tomato juice 1⁄4 Pint
  Vinegar 2 Tablespoon
  Sugar 1 Teaspoon
  Onion 1 , sliced
  Worcestershire sauce 1 Tablespoon
  Tomato ketchup 2 Tablespoon
  Made mustard 1 Teaspoon
  Salt To Taste
  Pepper To Taste
Directions

GETTING READY
1) Preheat oven to 355°F. - Gas Mark 4.

MAKING
2) In a pan, heat oil and add the chicken joints to brown on both sides.
3) Remove from pan and use a small baking or roasting tin to place.
4) In a saucepan, add tomato juice, vinegar, sugar, onion, Worcestershire sauce, ketchup, mustard and a good seasoning of salt and pepper. Combine well.
5) Place over heat and bring the liquid to the boil.
6) Pour this over chicken joints.
7) Place the chicken at the center to bake for an hour, by basting every 15 minutes with the barbecue baste.

SERVING
8) Serve the chicken with tossed salad.
