Creamy Chicken A La King
|Butter||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Flour||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Paprika||To Taste (Few Grains Required)|
|Hot chicken stock||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Heavy cream||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Milk||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Tabasco||2 Dash (Few Dashes)|
|Cooked chicken||2 Cup (32 tbs), diced|
|Pimento||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), diced|
|Sliced mushrooms||1 Cup (16 tbs), sauteed in butter|
|Frozen peas||10 Ounce, cooked (1/2 Package)|
Melt butter, add flour and paprika.
Add chicken stock, cream, milk and Tabasco.
Bring to boil and simmer 5 minutes.
Add chicken, pimento, mushrooms and cooked peas.
Season with salt and pepper.
Remove from heat.
Serve in patty shells or on hot toast triangles.
