Chicken In Wine With Walnuts

Ingredients
  Chicken 5 Pound (1 Whole)
  Salt 1 Teaspoon
  Pepper 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  White cooking wine 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Water 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Shelled walnuts 1 Pound
  Butter 4 Tablespoon
  Flour 2 Tablespoon
  Rice 2 Cup (32 tbs)
Directions

GETTING READY
1) Preheat the oven at 325 degrees
MAKING
2) In a large baking pan, place the chicken after seasoning with salt and peper
3) Cover the pan after adding wine and water
4) Slide this into the oven and bake at 325 degrees for about 2 hours
5) After the chicken is tender, remove it and cut into serving pieces and reserve broth
6) In a blender, crush the walnuts
7) In a 12-inch skillet, melt the butter over low heat and stir in the flour
8) Cook until the flour is brown stirring constantly
9) To this, add the walnuts and 2 cups of reserved broth
10) Add the chicken to this sauce and cook over low heat until the sauce turns thick
11) Turn the stove of, remove the dish from heat and cover it for about 5 to 10 minutes
SERVING
12) Serve in a bed of rice
