Chicken With Almonds

Ingredients
  Oil 4 Tablespoon
  Butter/Margarine 2 Tablespoon
  Broiler chicken 2 Pound (2 - 21/2 pound)
  Onions 2 , thinly sliced
  Tomatoes 3 , peeled
  Cinnamon 1 Pinch
  Chicken broth 1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)
  Blanched almonds 1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)
  Seedless raisins 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Rice 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs), cooked
  Chopped parsley 1 Tablespoon
Directions

GETTING READY
1) Preheat oven to temperature of 375 degrees.

MAKING
2) In a saute pan, heat the oil and butter and brown the chicken pieces properly on all sides. Add in the tomatoes, onions, seaoning and cinnamon and cook them togtherfor some minutes. Move all the mixture to a casserole.
3) Add the chicken broth, cover and cook for 1/2 hour. Then add the almonds and cook for another 30 minutes.
4) With hot cooked rice, line a large oval platter and pile the cooked chicken in the center. Pour the sauce all over the chicken after seasoning it to taste.

SERVING
5) Serve hot.
