Blackberry Brandy Grilled Chicken And Shrimp

Ingredients
  Blackberries 500 Milliliter
  Granulated sugar 375 Milliliter
  Blackberry brandy 125 Milliliter
  Boneless chicken 340 Gram, cubed (Two 170 Gram)
  Peeled deveined shrimp 454 Gram
  Oil 15 Milliliter
Directions

Puree berries in a food processor.
Pass through a sieve to remove seeds.
Mix the blackberry pulp, sugar and brandy together in a sauce pan.
Heat to a boil, reduce heat and simmer until sauce thickens.
Skewer the chicken and shrimp with water soaked bamboo skewers.
Brush the oil over the skewers.
Grill skewers for 5 minutes per side, brushing frequently with the sauce.
Brush one final time before serving.
