Classic Crockpot Chicken

Crockpot chicken is a real treat whether you decide to make a special meal for the family or have it as your main dish for a party. An easy to make simple recipe that would take the load of you even when you have a huge gathering to cater to.
  Whole chicken 4 Pound
  Onion 1 , finely sliced
  Potatoes 2 , cubed
  Red pepper 1
  Onion powder 1 Tablespoon
  Garlic powder 1⁄2 Tablespoon
  Salt To Taste
  Black pepper powder 1 Teaspoon
  Chicken broth 1 Cup (16 tbs)

Clean and wash the chicken (including the cavity). Rub the chicken with onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Grease the crockpot with cooking spray. Place a layer of potatoes at the bottom. Now add in the sliced onions and the pepper. Place the chicken and add the chicken broth. Cook the chicken on low for 4-5 hours. Remove and cut into pieces and serve with the cooked vegetables. You could serve this with garlic bread or any other of your choice.
