Chicken A La King
|Freezer chicken mix||12 Ounce (1 Container)|
|Canned mushroom stems and pieces||4 Ounce (1 Can)|
|Canned diced pimiento||2 Ounce (1 Jar)|
|Green pepper||1 Small, chopped|
|Dry white wine||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Patty shells/Hot cooked rice||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Toasted slivered almonds||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
Dip container of Freezer Chicken Mix into very hot water just to loosen.
Heat frozen block in 3-quart saucepan over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until thawed, about 30 minutes.
Stir in mushrooms (with liquid), pimiento (with liquid) and green pepper.
Heat to boiling; reduce heat.
Cover and simmer, stirring occasionally, until chicken is hot and green pepper is crisp-tender, 8 to 10 minutes.
Stir in wine.
Serve over patty shells.
Sprinkle with almonds.
