Quick And Easy Chicken Livers And Mushrooms In One Dish
|Diced mushrooms||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Green pepper||1⁄2 Medium, seeded and diced|
|Onion||1 Ounce, diced|
|Chicken livers||6 Ounce, quartered|
|Chicken stock||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Enriched white bread slice/1/2 cup cooked enriched rice||1 , toasted|
In nonstick skillet brown mushrooms, green pepper, and onion.
Add livers and sprinkle with flour, salt, and paprika.
Cook over moderate heat, stirring frequently, until liver loses pink color.
Add stock and bring to boil.
Cook, stirring often, until thickened.
Serve on toast or over rice.
