Baked Chicken And Prunes

Ingredients
  Cooking oil 3 Tablespoon
  Onions 6 Medium, cut into 1/4-inch slices
  All purpose flour 2 Tablespoon
  Frying chicken 7 Pound, cut up (2 Pieces, 3 1/2 Pound Each)
  Dried prunes 1 1⁄2 Pound
  Tomato sauce 16 Ounce (2 Cans, 8 Ounce Each)
Directions

Put oil in bottom of large deep casserole.
Add onions and sprinkle with flour.
Add half of chicken pieces and sprinkle them with salt and pepper.
Add half of prunes.
Repeat layers of chicken, seasonings, and prunes.
Pour tomato sauce over all.
Cover and bake in preheated moderate oven (350°F.) for 2 hours.
