Baked Chicken and Prunes
|Cooking oil||3 Tablespoon|
|Onions||6 Medium, cut into 1/4-inch slices|
|All purpose flour||2 Tablespoon|
|Frying chicken||7 Pound, cut up (2 Pieces, 3 1/2 Pound Each)|
|Dried prunes||1 1⁄2 Pound|
|Tomato sauce||16 Ounce (2 Cans, 8 Ounce Each)|
Put oil in bottom of large deep casserole.
Add onions and sprinkle with flour.
Add half of chicken pieces and sprinkle them with salt and pepper.
Add half of prunes.
Repeat layers of chicken, seasonings, and prunes.
Pour tomato sauce over all.
Cover and bake in preheated moderate oven (350°F.) for 2 hours.
