Maman'S Creamy Chicken Pot

Ingredients
  Chicken 1 , boiled
  Onion 1 Small
  Cloves 2
  Bay leaf 1
  Milk 750 Milliliter (3 Cups, Not Homogenized)
  Celery stalks with leaves 1 , diced
  Parsley sprig 1
  Mace 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Butter 50 Milliliter (3 Tablespoon)
  All purpose flour 50 Milliliter (3 Tablespoon)
  Salt To Taste
  Pepper To Taste
Directions

Stick the cloves in the onion and place inside the chicken.
Tie the legs loosely.
Place in a deep casserole and put the bay leaf on top.
Add the milk, celery, parsley, mace, salt and pepper.
Cover and bake at 275°F (135°C) for 2 to 3 hours, depending on the chicken.
When the bird is tender, remove from the dish and cut into pieces.
Make a ball of the soft butter and flour, add to the hot milk and stir well until creamy.
Taste for seasoning and pour over chicken.
