Zesty Chicken Wings
|Butter||15 Milliliter (1 Tablespoon)|
|Sliced mushrooms||125 Milliliter (1/2 Cup)|
|Chopped fresh spinach||125 Milliliter (1/2 Cup)|
|Tomato juice||500 Milliliter (2 Cups)|
|Sauce thickener||15 Milliliter (1 Tablespoon, Store Brought, For White Sauce)|
|Garlic||1 Clove (5 gm), minced|
|Rice||750 Milliliter, cooked (3 Cups)|
Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
Place the chicken wings on a cookie sheet and bake for approximately 12 minutes.
In a non-stick pan, melt the butter.
Saute the mushrooms over medium-high heat for 2 minutes and add the spinach.
Add the tomato juice and slightly reduce.
Thicken with the sauce thickener, stirring continuously.
Season with garlic and pepper to taste.
Pour the sauce on four plates, and top with the chicken wings.
For a main course serve the chicken wings on a bed of rice.
