Chicken with Artichokes
|Roasting chicken||4 Pound, cut up (1 Bird)|
|Butter/Margarine||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Garlic salad dressing mix||1 1⁄2 Ounce (1 Envelope)|
|Condensed cream of mushroom soup||10 1⁄2 Ounce (1 Can)|
|Canned artichoke hearts||9 1⁄2 Ounce, drained (1 Can)|
About 1 hour before serving: Sprinkle chicken with paprika; in large skillet, in butter, saute chicken until golden.
Sprinkle with salt and salad-dressing mix.
Stir in undiluted soup and 1/2 soup can of water.
Simmer, covered, 30 minutes; add artichokes; simmer 5 minutes or until hot.
