Seasoned Chicken A La King
|Butter||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)|
|Unsifted all purpose flour||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Half and half||2 Cup (32 tbs) (Dairy)|
|Chicken broth||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Cubed cooked chicken||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Sliced pimento||4 Ounce (1 Jar)|
|Canned sliced mushrooms||4 Ounce (Undrained, 1 Can)|
|Diced green pepper||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
In 2-qt casserole place butter.
Microwave at High (10) 1 Minute, until melted.
Blend in flour.
Gradually stir in half & half and broth; mix well.
Microwave at High (10) 8 to 10 Minutes, stirring with whisk after 4 minutes, until thickened and smooth.
Stir well again.
Mix in chicken, pimiento, mushrooms, green pepper, salt and pepper.
Microwave at Medium High (7) 7 to 10 Minutes, until hot.
Let stand 5 to 10 minutes before serving, to blend flavors.
