Ham Chicken Bake
|Chopped onion||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Celery||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), chopped|
|Butter/Margarine||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Enriched flour||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Chicken broth||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)|
|Light cream/Milk||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)|
|Diced ham||2 Cup (32 tbs) (Cooked Or Canned)|
|Diced cooked chicken||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Canned broiled sliced mushrooms||3 Ounce (1 Can)|
|Poultry seasoning||1 Teaspoon|
|Monosodium glutamate||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Yam biscuits/Biscuits rolls||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
Cook onion and celery in butter till tender but not brown; blend in flour.
Stir in broth and light cream all at once; cook and stir till sauce comes to boil.
Add ham, chicken, mushrooms, and seasonings; heat through.
Pour into ungreased 11 1/2 x 7 1/2 x 1 1/2-inch baking dish.
Top hot mixture with Yam Biscuits (or prepare Biscuit Rolls).
Bake at 350° 30 to 35 minutes or till biscuits are done and casserole is hot.
