Cocktail Chicken Wings
|Chicken wings||36 , rinsed|
|Soy sauce||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Sugar||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Firmly packed dark brown sugar||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
Preheat oven to 325°.
The chicken is easier to eat if you cut the wing in two pieces—at the joint— and remove the wing tip.
Arrange wings in a single layer in roasting pan.
Combine soy sauce and sugars in bowl and mix well.
Pour mixture over chicken and place pan on the middle rack of oven.
Turn chicken after 30 minutes; cook an additional 30 minutes.
Baste wings with the juices and cook for a final 20 minutes.
Serve warm or at room temperature.
