Spiced Chicken With Honey
|Butter||2 Ounce (50 Gram)|
|Clear honey||4 Fluid Ounce (125 Milliliter)|
|Prepared mustard||4 Tablespoon (German)|
|Mild curry powder||1 Teaspoon|
|Chicken||4 Pound, cut into 8 serving pieces (2 Kilogram)|
Melt the butter in a saucepan and stir in the honey, mustard, salt arid curry powder.
Pour half the mixture into a roasting tin.
Place the chicken pieces in the tin and pour over the remaining honey mixture.
Bake in a fairly hot oven(190° C/375° F or Gas Mark 5) for 1 hour or until the chicken is tender.
Baste the chicken with the honey mixture in the tin at least twice during the cooking period.
Transfer the chicken to a warmed serving dish and spoon over any honey mixture in the tin.
