Paper Bag Barbecued Chicken
|Catsup||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|White vinegar||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Worcestershire sauce||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Lemon juice||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Chili powder||1 Tablespoon|
|Water||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)|
|Butter||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Frying chickens||2 , disjointed|
Combine all ingredients except chicken in saucepan; stir over low heat until butter is melted.
Place chicken in large brown paper bag; pour sauce in bag.
Roll top of bag down; secure with paper clips.
Place in large pan or roaster; cover.
Bake at 500 degrees for 15 minutes.
Reduce oven temperature to 350 degrees; bake for 1 hour and 15 minutes longer.
