Oven Browned Chicken
|Onions||1 1⁄2 Pound, thinly sliced (6 medium)|
|Chicken pieces||75 (drumsticks and thighs)|
|All purpose flour||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
|Salt||2 1⁄4 Teaspoon|
|Paprika||2 1⁄4 Teaspoon|
|Margarine||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs), melted|
Arrange half the onion slices in greased shallow baking pans.
Arrange chicken pieces in a single layer on onions and top with remaining onions.
Mix remaining ingredients, except margarine, and sift onto chicken.
Pour margarine over top.
Bake in preheated moderate oven (375Â°F.) 1 hour, or until chicken is browned and tender.
