Chicken Breasts With Cheese & Chilies
|Boneless skinless chicken breast halves||1 1⁄2 Pound|
|Shredded jack cheese||4 Ounce (1 Cup)|
|Diced green chilies||4 Ounce (1 Cup)|
|Chopped green onions||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs) (Including Tops)|
|Crisply cooked bacon slices||4 , crumbled|
|Avocado||1 Medium, peeled, pitted, and chopped|
|Sour cream||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
Lay breasts in an 8 by 12-inch pan; cover tightly with foil.
Bake in a 350° oven for 15 minutes.
Meanwhile, mix cheese and chilies.
Cover each breast equally with mixture, patting to hold in place.
Sprinkle chicken evenly with green onion and crumbled bacon.
Return to oven and bake, uncovered, until chicken is white in center of thickest piece (cut to test) and cheese melts, about 10 minutes.
Scatter avocado over chicken; serve with sour cream to taste.
