Crispy Batter Fried Chicken

Ingredients
  Broiler fryer chicken 3 Pound, cut up
For think fritter batter
  All purpose flour 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Salt 1 Teaspoon
  Celery salt 1 Teaspoon
  Pepper 1⁄2 Teaspoon
Directions

Wash chicken; place in kettle with enough water to cover.
Heat to boiling.
Reduce heat; cover and simmer 20 minutes.
Remove chicken from broth; drain and pat dry.
Heat fat or oil (3 to 4 inches) to 360° in deep fat fryer or kettle.
Prepare Thin Fritter Batter.
Mix flour, salt, celery salt and pepper; coat chicken pieces with flour mixture.
Dip coated chicken into batter; fry in deep fat 5 to 7 minutes or until rich golden brown and fork-tender.
