Char Grilled Lemon Chicken
|Olive oil||1 Tablespoon|
|Garlic paste||1 1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Grated lemon zest||1|
|Lemon||2 , juiced|
|Crushed dried red chilies||1 Teaspoon|
|Watercress||1 Bunch (100 gm)|
|Lemon||1 , sliced|
|Chopped coriander||1 Tablespoon|
1. Preheat a moderate grill. Quarter the chicken and remove the skin. Using a sharp knife, make small slashes diagonally across the flesh to let flavours and heat penetrate.
2. In a small bowl, mix together the oil, garlic pulp, the lemon zest and juice and salt to taste. Brush this mixture all over the chicken pieces and then sprinkle it with the crushed dried red chillies.
3. Grill for 10-15 minutes, turning the pieces halfway through. Check with a sharp knife or a skewer to see that the chicken is completely cooked (the juices run clear).
