Chicken With Cauliflower And Peas
|Broiler-fryer chicken||3 Pound, cut into pieces (About 8 Pieces)|
|Garlic||1 Clove (5 gm), finely chopped|
|Dried basil leaves||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Onion||1 Medium, cut into 8 wedges|
|Cauliflower||1 Pound, cut into 1-inch flowerets to make 3 cups|
|Frozen green peas package||10 Ounce (1 Package)|
1. Cut each chicken breast half into halves. Arrange pieces skin sides up with thickest parts to outside edge in baking dish, 12x71/2X2 inches. Sprinkle with 1 teaspoon salt, the garlic, basil and paprika. Add onion. Cover tightly and microwave on high (100%) 10 minutes.
2. Add cauliflower and peas; sprinkle with 1/2 teaspoon salt and the pepper. Rotate baking dish 1/2 turn. Cover tightly and microwave on high (100%) until thickest parts of chicken are done and vegetables are tender, 10 to 15 minutes. Uncover and let stand 3 minutes.
