Chicken With Almonds Or Pecans

  Chicken spring 1 , jointed
  Salt 1 Teaspoon
  Black pepper 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Flour 2 Tablespoon
  Butter 3 Tablespoon
  Corn oil 3 Tablespoon
  Marjoram 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Almonds 3 Ounce (1 Cup)

Heat the butter and oil in the chafing dish.
Put in the chicken and brown on both sides.
Add the marjoram and nuts, cover, and cook over low heat until the chicken is tender.
This will take about 15-20 minutes.
A green salad is a good accompaniment.
