Mandarin Chicken Dinner
|Water||1 1⁄4 Cup (20 tbs)|
|Sliced celery||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Millet||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Sliced green onions||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Chopped cooked chicken||8 Ounce (1/2 Cup)|
|Canned sliced water chestnuts||8 Ounce, drained (1 Can)|
|Soy sauce||2 Tablespoon|
|Canned mandarin orange||10 1⁄2 Ounce, drained (Water Packed, 1 Can)|
In a large saucepan combine water, celery, millet, and green onions.
Bring to boiling; reduce heat.
Cover and simmer for 10 to 15 minutes or till liquid is absorbed.
Stir chicken, water chestnuts, and soy sauce into the millet mixture; heat through.
Gently fold in orange sections.
