Sweet And Sour Chicken
|Chickens||2 , boned, skinned and cut into 1/2 inch strips (Use Breasts)|
|Canned pineapple chunks||13 1⁄2 Ounce (1 Can)|
|Pineapple syrup||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Chicken broth||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Vinegar||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Soy sauce||2 Tablespoon|
|Brown sugar||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Green pepper||1 Large, cut in to chunks|
|Tomatoes||3 Small, cut into eighths|
Heat oil in blazer pan of Oster Electric Chafing Dish at high.
Add chicken and cook, stirring frequently, about 2 minutes, or until chicken is cooked through.
Add syrup, 1/2 cup broth, vinegar, soy sauce and brown sugar, continue to heat to boiling.
Combine cornstarch and remaining broth, add to sauce while stirring, and cook until thickened.
Add pineapple, pepper and tomato, and cook over hot water bath at MED setting only until heated through.
