Spicy Chicken Pieces

Ingredients
  Soy sauce 250 Milliliter (1 Cup)
  Vegetable oil 125 Milliliter (1/2 Cup)
  Grated fresh ginger 15 Milliliter (1 Tablespoon)
  Chicken stock 125 Milliliter (1/2 Cup)
  Chinese five spice powder 2 Teaspoon (10 Milliliter)
  Honey 45 Milliliter (3 Tablespoon)
  Chicken pieces 3 Pound (1.5 Kilogram)
Directions

Combine first 6 ingredients in a small saucepan and heat until simmering.
Remove from heat.
Pat chicken pieces dry with paper towels and place in a large dish.
Pour over soy sauce mixture, cover and refrigerate for at least 6 hours.
Lift chicken pieces from marinade, arrange in baking dish and bake at 350°F (180°C) for 30 minutes, basting occasionally with remaining marinade.
To test if chicken is cooked, pierce flesh with a skewer.
The juices should run clear without any signs of pink.
