Grilled And Glazed Game Hens
|Sauce||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Dry sherry||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Frozen orange juice concentrate||3 Tablespoon, thawed and undiluted|
|Cornish game hens||4|
In saucepan, combine barbecue sauce, sherry and juice concentrate.
Bring to boil; simmer 10 minutes.
Remove from heat; cool.
Remove giblets from hens.
Remove fatty portion from neck and tail area of hens.
Rinse hens under cold running water.
Pat cavities dry with paper toweling; brush with sauce.
Grill hens, on covered grill, over medium-hot briquets 40 to 50 minutes or until thigh moves easily and juices run clear, turning once.
Baste with sauce during last 10 minutes of grilling.
Remove from grill; brush generously with additional sauce.
