Cheesy Chicken A La King
|Butter/Margarine||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Flour||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Canned chicken broth||10 1⁄2 Ounce (1 Can)|
|Milk||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Cooked diced chicken/Turkey||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)|
|Frozen peas||1 Cup (16 tbs), Defrosted|
|Chopped pimento||2 Ounce (1 Jar)|
|Seasoning||1⁄2 Teaspoon (Accent)|
|Seasoned salt||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Grated sharp cheese||1 Tablespoon|
Place butter in a 1 1/2 quart casserole.
Microwave 1 to 2 minutes, on high, or until butter is melted.
Sir in flour to make a paste.
Add chicken broth and milk beating with a wire whip.
Microwave 5 to 6 minutes, on high, stirring every 2 minutes.
Add chicken, peas, pimento, accent and pepper.
Cover and Microwave 4 minutes, on high, or until hot.
Just before serving, stir in seasoned salt and grated cheese.
