Herbed Chicken Breasts
|Butter/Margarine||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Garlic powder||1⁄4 Teaspoon|
|Leaf oregano||1⁄8 Teaspoon|
|Chicken breasts||2 Pound, halved (2 Whole, 1 Pound Each)|
|Dry white wine/Water||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
1. Place butter in 2-quart (12x7) glass baking dish.
2. Microwave on ROAST for about 1 1/2 minutes or until melted. Add seasonings to butter; mix well. Roll chicken breasts in seasoned butter. Place skin side down and thick edges toward outside, in buttered baking dish. Cover with plastic wrap.
3. Microwave on HIGH for 10 minutes. Turn chicken over; pour wine over all, and continue cooking on HIGH for 6 to 8 minutes or until fork tender. Let stand 5 minutes before serving.
