Savory Crescent Chicken Squares
|Cream cheese||3 Ounce, softened|
|Margarine||2 Tablespoon, melted|
|Cooked cubed chicken||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Chopped chives||1 Tablespoon|
|Chopped pimento||1 Tablespoon|
|Crescent rolls||1 Can (10 oz)|
|Seasoned croutons||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
Preheat oven to 350°.
Blend cream cheese with margarine until smooth.
Add chicken, salt, pepper, milk, chives and pimento.
Separate crescent roll dough into 4 rectangles; seal perforations.
Spoon 1/2 cup meat mixture onto center of each rectangle; pull 4 corners of dough to center and seal edges.
Brush tops with butter.
Sprinkle with croutons-(or Parmesan cheese).
Bake on ungreased cookie sheet for 20 to 25 minutes.
