Chicken In The Pot is as good as it sounds. Chicken In The Pot is easy and all who have tasted it so far have praised me for the same. Prepare it today!
  Fryer chicken 3 Pound, cut up (1 Whole)
  Chicken broth 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Dry white wine 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs) (California)
  Seasoned salt 1 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Pepper 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Marjoram/Basil 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Carrots 4 , diced
  Celery stalks 2 , diced
  Onion 1⁄2 , sliced

Place chicken in crock cooker, alternating layers with a few vegetables.
Mix seasonings with liquids, and pour over chicken.
Cover and cook at Low heat for 5 to 7 hours.
Remove chicken and vegetables to a serving dish.
Thicken gravy with a little roux (flour and butter which has been mixed together) by cooking at High heat.
